I was born and raised in the city of Philadelphia.  I began fostering my artistic talent at a young age watching my father paint.  Ismael Avila, Sr. a renowned artist within the Puerto Rican community, died in 2020, but until this day is my greatest inspiration.

While cartooning has been where I have spent most of my time and talent, it wasn’t until later in life that I decided to pick up the brush and began exploring the world of painting. Needless to say, it has been an absolute joy!
